To enhance the awareness of the industry on the importance of safe management of chemicals, the Inter-departmental Counter Terrorism Unit (ICTU) and the Fire Services Department carried out a joint operation on various chemical outlets and hardware stores in Mong Kok area for enforcement and public education activities on December 10.

ICTU encourages the industry to report to ICTU via “CT Reporting Hotline” 63-666-999 if they come across suspicious purchase of chemicals. Reports pivotal to investigation will stand a chance of getting a reward.
