To combat terrorism effectively, apart from efforts of law enforcement agencies, members of the public have an equally important part to play.

The sixth issue of “Safe Community Newsletter” features several overseas examples in which members of public identified suspicious circumstances in daily lives and alerted the law enforcement agencies, successfully preventing terrorist attacks from happening.  Besides, ICTU officially launched the “Safe Community” Wechat mini programme on 28^th June, facilitating the public and target stakeholders to acquire latest counter-terrorism information and report suspicious incidents.
