To engage the youth and strengthen their security awareness, Inter-departmental Counter Terrorism Unit (ICTU) participated in several community events in October and November 2022.<\/p>\n
To highlight, ICTU participated in the \u2018JPC Fun Day @ Pat Heung\u2019 on 12 November, organised by the Junior Police Call Permanent Activity Centre and Integrated Youth Training Camp (JPC @ Pat Heung), which was attended by over 200 JPC members. A booth under the theme of \u2018A Safe Community\u2019 was hosted. Through the Augmented Reality (AR) mobile game \u2013 \u2018Special Agent of Traces\u2019, JPC members learnt how to identify and report suspicious objects, persons and activities. ICTU also conducted a \u2018Guided Emergency Response Demonstration\u2019 drill in which dozens of JPC members were invited to play a role and they learnt how to apply \u2018Run, Hide, Report\u2019 and \u2018Three Basic Skills on Emergency Preparedness\u2019 in the event of a terrorist attack or violent incident.<\/p>\n
Besides, ICTU participated in \u2018Tai Po Junior Police Call School Engagement Day\u2019, \u2018180 years: Safeguarding HK Waters \u2013 Community Engagement and Charity Day\u2019 and the Police \u2018PHM Carnival 2022\u2019.
