To combat terrorism effectively, apart from efforts of law enforcement agencies, members of the public have an equally important part to play.<\/p>\n
The sixth issue of \u201cSafe Community Newsletter\u201d features several overseas examples in which members of public identified suspicious circumstances in daily lives and alerted the law enforcement agencies, successfully preventing terrorist attacks from happening.\u00a0 Besides, ICTU officially launched the \u201cSafe Community\u201d Wechat mini programme on 28th<\/sup> June, facilitating the public and target stakeholders to acquire latest counter-terrorism information and report suspicious incidents. \u00a0<\/p>\n
