To enhance the industry’s safety management of chemicals, the Inter-departmental Counter Terrorism Unit (ICTU), in collaboration with the Dangerous Goods Enforcement Division of the Fire Services Department, conducted a joint operation on various chemical outlets and hardware stores across the region on September 26 and 27. This initiative aimed to enforce regulations and educate the public on safety practices.<\/p>\n

ICTU reminds the industry to be vigilant and report to ICTU via \u201cCT Reporting Hotline\u201d 63-666-999 if they notice anyone unusually purchasing large quantities of different kinds of chemicals.
