Inter-departmental Counter Terrorism Unit (ICTU) has unveiled the \u201cSafe Community Plus+\u201d in its first collaboration with the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups (HKFYG).\u00a0 The Commissioner SIU Chak-yee and the Executive Director of the HKFYG, Ms HSU Siu-man officiated at the opening ceremony held at Hong Kong Baptist University Affiliated School Wong Kam Fai Secondary and Primary School in Sha Tin in the afternoon on October 29 to mark the start of this campaign.\u00a0 The \u201cSafe Community Plus+\u201d will visit different schools and community spots in the coming four months.<\/p>\n
\u201cSafe Community Plus+\u201d features a variety of mini games, including AI Chatbot, which simulates dialogue to teach participants how to apply \u201cSpot and Report\u201d when facing suspicious situation.\u00a0 Additionally, a display screen is attached at the exterior of truck for showing public education videos such as \u201cRun, Hide, Report\u201d and \u201cSpot and Report\u201d.\u00a0 About 50 teachers and students attended the opening ceremony on the day to try out the wide array of activities on the \u201cSafe Community Plus+\u201d.<\/p>\n
ICTU will continue to actively engage with different sectors in the community and reach out to members of the public through different channels and campaigns, with a view to raising their security awareness.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
